Many people often wonder why our country is still classified as a developing nation and when it will achieve developed status. However, as responsible citizens, we must first reflect on our own contributions towards our nation and society. Recognizing this need for active participation, Mission Bharat NGO has introduced a transformative concept called “81 Hours of Social Engineering.”
Â
The idea behind this initiative is to encourage individuals to dedicate a small portion of their time, approximately 1% of the total hours available to them, towards societal welfare. Considering that each day consists of 24 hours, a week contains 168 hours, and a year holds 8,760 hours, Tenetatively around 81 hours annually seems manageable and impactful.
"Make a Difference in 81 Hours"
Mission Bharat believes that if everyone contributes their time and skills to society, our collective dream of progress and development can be realized much more swiftly. By enrolling in this initiative, individuals can choose the sector or area they are passionate about and would like to contribute their time towards. For example, if someone has a passion for teaching, Mission Bharat can assign them the task of conducting career sessions for government school students. This not only provides valuable guidance to young minds but also empowers them to make informed decisions about their future. Similarly, individuals with expertise in other fields can engage in activities that align with their skills and interests, such as organizing health camps, environmental conservation initiatives, or skill development workshops.
Through the 81 Hours of Social Engineering initiative, Mission Bharat aims to mobilize citizens and create a sense of ownership and responsibility towards the betterment of our society. By actively participating and dedicating our time, we can collectively contribute to the nation’s growth and development.
